fault finding lambda sensors?

Before I spend nearly £100 on the two sensors, where can i check the signal from the lambda, dont want to be doing it under the car tbh. Where does the signal go into ecu?

bumpage, got to hunt for a sensor tomorrow as mot retest needs to pass on monday.

It's normally the Pre cat sensor that goes as they get the most abuse, hottest fumes etc. Not sure how to test the signal, but a diagnostics test will tell you, u'll need a computer to put the light out anyway!

I am not worried about light as that goes on its own. Might buy one of the codereaders anyway though.
