Faulty Electrics

Cry for help here. My 1996 1.4RT has recently decided that I don't need to open my window. I can't get any response from my switches, which can be a little annoying when it's a hot day. The front passenger window opens with the switch on that side though. Any ideas? I'm not very good with fixing cars so please excuse me if it's something really simple.

Get a new switch, if it's not that you'll need a new electric window motor, probs get one from a scrappers (the switch too)
