faulty immobiliser/alarm - 182 doesnt start!

  Clio 197 F1 No:494
everytime i lock my 182 the alarm bleeps and every morning when i come to start the car it just continulously turns over and after a huge amount of attempts the car does finally start, its fine once started but the same problem occurs everytime i come to start it, and its becoming a huge pain in the backside. as i get stranded!!

is it an idea just to have the immobiliser/alarm dis-connected??

or does anyone know what this problem could be?

ive taken it to Renault but thats just the case of been charged and not resolving the problem.

the other strange problem i have with the car is that when i come to lock it the passenger door never locks and sometimes i end up manually locking it?

Had similiar problem on mine today had to get the AA to come and have a look into it.
What he did was take out the large black connecter which is situated under the glove box, should be a small black one then a large white one the other black one is behind both.
To fix you need to turn on the ignition take the large black plug out wait 30 seconds refit the plug then turn ignition off wait another 30 seconds then turn ignition back on again wait for 20 seconds then start the car.
Hope this helps.

i have the same problem with my 1.2. It doesnt turn over though. I think its the imobiliser circuit. It starts randomly after 6 or so attempts but then other times it ok. still looking into my fault.
