Faulty Speedo

Hiya, just after some advice please.

The speedo on my X Reg Clio is playing up, seems to be intermittent i.e reading ok then not reading any speed at all. Done a test by holding the button in during power up and all the instruments move as per so kinda rules out faulty a faulty instrument panel.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Quick update - had Transducer on gearbox replaced, sorted.
