I've had a few of these. Absolutely great cars! Did everything really well. (BAck in the day, obviously)

I had a black 1600i, C796 BHU. A white 1600i, C294AMS, I had a Red 1400cc Equippe, H144WYY (iirc) and my favourite, a white 1600i E555MBX.

I loved orions! lol.

I used to love these when i was a kid but they had to have these wheels

I doubt you'd get a lightweight for a grand...

I've seen them going for £1,200-£2,500 in rough condition, mint one's are £3-£7k,
but a mate of mine builds off road landy monsters for a laugh,
he's told me if we can get a decent pre 72 lightweight chasis for around a grand, (difficult but possible if a non runner)
he'll drop a disco engine in it for me, (tax exempt FTW)
although TBH any pre 72 Landy chasis will do.

He built a lightweight with some kind of V8 in it that's sh*t scary to drive!!

Light weights deserve a V8..haha

My mate just sold his 2 1/4 lightweight for 2.3k. You may get one cheap but the bulkhead will most def be gone..haha

All my mates have Landys being Somerset boys..

Of course, there's many more, including the AE86. Then there's stuff from the rest of the world too.

yeah he has the cosworth, stands out soo much around here, you hear it waaay befoe you see it, hes only 21 aswell! He also has a mk1 escort project which he takes out every now and then, ive never been in that though, think he blew the engine up so hes currently putting another in.

I'm afraid I don't have a pic cause I'm on the phone but,
original 1965 AC Cobra,
7ltr V8,
open pipes,
1000kilos,

That'll do donkey that'll do ;)
Not that I'm intentionally nitpicking, but the 7.0 Cobra was the mk3. The original was a 4.3 ;) I agree though they're fcuking awesome!
