Nice clean driving there, Mark. Totally agree with the muppets on track but I guess that's a standard affair at events like this.

  Was a 197
All those Saxo's C2s and 106 and 306s were holding all the Clio's up like the white 106 who was holding you up Ste on your 1st session into the first bend after the satey car!!

Great vid mark, tried to get some shots of you on track but they were crap because of that stupid fence :dapprove:

Over the day noticed pretty much every 106/saxo didnt take turn 1 properly. (where i was standing). They just tried to hug the white line from the main straight all the way round the corner

I actually thought people were a lot better on track this year, didn't have any muppets going past me braking into the corner and then flying onto the line where I am resulting in me having to brake mid corner etc.

My C4 also seemed to be doing better this year than last year. I got over taken by everything last year. This year it seemed to be holding its own a little better. Coil overs have helped it massively in the cornering department.

If anyone has any pictures of the yellow C4 on track please post them for me.

Think there were only 2 of us in C4's out on the day. My yellow one and a grey one.

I was only out twice. 10am and 12:30.

Was going rather well on track. Seemed a lot better than it was last year now that the coilovers were on. They really need raising next time I go on track though...I was scraping the bumpers during the bends. Not sure if it was c**king a rear wheel or not which might explain why it only happened on some corners and not all the time.

Unfortunately after it had cooled down, and been sat for a while my mate got in it. Pushed the brake pedal and it pissed brake fluid all over the floor. Found the hose was lose in the back of the caliper. Thing is it was absolutely perfect on track. No odd feelings, brakes were performing really well. Was able to out brake a fair few cars. Then after it had cooled down the bolt was practically hanging out when I checked. They were only installed on Friday so was a bit pissed off. Going to be having words with the garage who installed them anyway. As it could have been much worse if that had happened on track.

Wondering if maybe due to the heat and cooling down if the bolt maybe worked lose somehow. Only thing I can think of. Tightened it all back up and drove it home fine after topping up the fluid again. Thankfully some of the guys on the C4 forum had tools with them which they donated to me to make sure I could get home ok.

how were the clio wheels on the back?

Not bad Lee, I didn't push anywhere near as much as I did in the morning as I know how old the tyres are, and also without the spigot rings I wasn't 100% comfortable. Thanks again for your help :approve:

How does it compare to your cup Mark?

Surprisingly similar. Slower obviously, but apart from that they share very similar DNA. Feel, behaviour, balance, adjustability, throttle response, all as good in the IS as in the Cup.

Looks good Mark, how come you took the Iggy instead of the Cup?

Been dying to get it out since I got it. The Cup had a hard day at Rockingham back in February/March time, and it's now over 120k and sounds like a diesel. A new cambelt and de-phaser thingy are on the way for it.

LOL, just seen someone posted a comment on my video page saying he understands why I was so quick now...I'm supercharged apparently!

I had that multiple times, must be Jap envy.

Having spent sessions in the past at FCS waiting for someone to consent to you overtaking them I've learned the only way to make progress at FCS is to push past. Most people brake way too early, or are very late on the power when exiting so I managed to sneak a few passes in that way.

Made it quite interesting having to work out where I was stronger, then setup to exploit it at the next opportunity.

Spent most of the time looking left/right/behind though just to be sure.

Very funky cars. Enjoyed watching you on the track. Got a picture too:
