Feedback pls on my btcc pics

Can you provide me pls with some feedback for the pics I took at Oulton on sun. Thread here http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=426999
Was my 1st go at motorsport and i think they are quite good. Was using the standard kit lens with the 350d (18-55) and got most of the panning shots using 1/320 in the Tx mode (i think) which worked quite well for the single seaters especially as I was a bit closer.
I noted that the newer eos models come with an IS kit lens as standard and am curious how much it makes to the picture ? as lots of the panning shots were a little blurry and would that have helped ?

I've not done panning shots myself but these look a very good start.

Looking at the first picture, what focus mode were you using? One stop or Ai-Servo?

Haven't looked at them all but there are some alright ones in there. I should imagine it's very difficult using the kit lens for motorsport.

As far as i know IS doesn't come into play with panning shots. Perhaps a monopod or a tripod would have been useful.
