Feeling the heat.......

  172 Ph1/Scooby MY00
I have it but wish I didn't. Give me a stripped out, nothing-fancy car everytime. What's wrong with winding down the window? I mean ''winding down'', none of this fancy electric window nonsense either!

Cheers, Victor Meldrew.

A/C is a god send. Couldn't live without it.

Especially as the world is getting warmer....

Are you joking me? 28 degrees in a line of backed up traffic, and its not hot enough???? Who you fooling joker!

AC and loving it, although it does make the car definitely more sluggish, especially when moving in a traffic jam, more revs needed i find.

But, its a must while its like this for sure!

  106 GTi
Loving it today, just makes me want to sit in the car rather than indoors as its so damn refreshing set to min!

  Seat Leon Cupra 290
i couldnt handle the heat in my cup, had to stop every 10 mins cos i couldnt handle it.

A.c is for pretty boys ;)

There is no way I could drive about in days like today without aircon.Id be dripping wet.I love being able to have the windows rite up,actually feeling chilly, while every poor guy has there windows down, sweating like a rapist on murder charge.

I have air con but I very rarely use it. I find it eats my fuel if I have it on for more than 5 mins, so I tend to have all the windows and sunroof open and just put up with it, nice to give it a whirl for a few mins when its really hot though.

I have mine on all year round! NO WAY could I ever go back to a car without it, I hate getting all hot and the windows never cool it enough, plus on the motorway it's too irritating having them open.

when im on the motorway i find its better from a mpg point of view, to have the windows up and the air con on. however, whilst pottering around town for a couple of hours my 1.2 averaged 36 with the air con on :S

I couldn't live without it now, my cars parked in the sun all day so it's like an oven when I get in it, the aircon is great, so refreshing! Windows just don't cool you down when it's this hot.

  '18 Megane dci
Might donate my a/c to someone, it's only been on 3 times in the winter since I bought it, hate it. :)

Don't think i could survive without it here,i might literally melt. Have to leave the car 5 mins with A/C blasting away as eveything is too hot to touch, lol. You think its hot in the UK? You haven't tried the middle east, lol. Crazy temperatures. The A/C holds up ok but when moving in traffic it does get a little uncomfortable as it struggles to keep me cool.

  Clio 172 mk2
Where I work people have to go over to sites in the middle east...they say it's 40 degrees plus! Definately need AC for over there.

I find it's a necessity. Only open my window to smoke a fag out of it these days. Nice to open the windows at night when it's cooler, but as soon as you get up to any speed it's noisy and blowy as fook.

Climate control is generally set to 16 or less around this time of year, and haven't seen a drop in MPG; well maybe a drop of .5 of a mile. But I wouldn't read too much into that.
