I don't think you'll get much cheaper than yozzasport tbh , if ya do it will only be a couple of quid .

Only place that might be cheaper is a local car parts supplier .

are they worth it? dearer than discs... (High Carbons...)

I went for Green Stuffs for under £50 delivered from a guy on ebay (seems to be GSF he works for).

Why do they say for race use only on YS? Some kind of odd disclaimer you have to legally put? :p

I've got greenstuff pads, had them for over a year now - good pads (around £50), the EBC discs were crap though.

On the subject of brake pads. Are Green stuff pads a lot better than stock pads? I only do one or two trackdays a year...is it really worth getting Ferodo 2500's for mainly road use?

When I spoke to a Ferrodo dealer he said DS2500s strictly speaking aren't road legal. If I remember rightly, he said that pads have to have +/-15% the same frictional properties as the OE ones and the DS2500s are much higher. Apparently this regualtion was brought in to stop poor quality pads from eastern block countries being sold?

Have you thought of the New EBc yellowstuff, its a track race material and capable of high temp use with very good wear life, the bite from cold is very good which is uncommon with race materials and makes this a pad which can safely be used on the road as well as on the track, we have had good reports on it but not get sold a set for a clio so make a comment for this model, but I have good reports for most models, and whats even better is its half the price of the Ds2500 nearly, give us a call if you wish to talk more...07831147200 or 01372843675

Are they available for Clios? A guy I know recommended them to me but couldn't find them listed for a Clio anywhere.

EBC vs DS2500, there's no comparison, DS2500's win

yellows are ok, but they're mean't to be an enduro race pad, i found them a bit parp when cold, but i felt they didn't offer as much bite as a DS2500 pad (this is on track)

Reds rip discs to pieces, but work well

Greens are a good uprated road pad

this is probably the case as i`m not disputing that EBc Yellow are better than Ferodo DS2500, but not everybody can afford to spend £100 on one set of brake pads and so it offers a cheaper alternative

I found Green stuff to be hit and miss, ds2500 to squeek and not as good initial bite im back onto tar ox corsas they are brilliant pads imo and just over £50 an axle set.
