Yup i was on at 11:45 chap, thank you :approve:, it was going well, i wasn't far off a Rover 25 with a 220 Turbo engine, and i got past a Boxter S too, just need to tidy up my lines a bit more and get my lap times down

Yeah that rover was flying. Is your car pretty standard or not ( Tyres/ Brakes) Im gonna start putting the cup on track again but looking for opinions on tyres brakes etc

I have new Renaultsport shocks with Eibach Proline springs
Pugpsort drilled front discs
Mintex 1144 pads
braided hoses
Very bald G/year GSD3s

On track the only thing that could have been better really would be a slightly stiffer shock, but for the amount of track work i do its not worth the expense, the Clio is an animal on A and b roads which is where 90% of my driving is done

I can fully recommend my set up, even on track it impressed me

if i were doing more track work i would get a stiffer shock, but generally speaking it was very good, its just at higher speeds (90+) that the damping showed up, throught the esses it was brilliant, that was where i had a big advantage, pulling decent speeds out the bends

Last time i went round combe it was a little floaty over avon rise. I enjoy a good B road blast so will prob just renew the rear shocks as its a bit tail happy at the mo

Yeah iv just done mine and mine was the same, problem with Avon is you gotta pick your braking point so accurately, brake at the wrong point and the car can get very unsettled, i had a few twitchy moment but that was round camp, trying to find the right line lol
