Love it. Subtle touches can make it stand out like they have done. Same as above id just leave it now :)

Looks great as it stands. Nice little touches.

Maybe if anything, the rear needs to come down a very slight amount? Just with the front being down as much as it is.

Yeah I plan to remove the adjusters on the rear before CSS, so probably another 8-10mm shaved off the back should see that gap closed.

Thanks mate, yeah i love that ktec sprint/elia spoiler and dont think it would look a miss on this. Quite expensive iirc though? Some projectors are at the top of my list atm, but keep coming across RS ones that dont fit :( Must admit, it is a nice feeling once you start to get your car to look/drive how you want after having it at standard (this car had been a bit chaved up by the previous owner before).

That looks stunning, when these first came out I really disliked them, but now they've really grown on me, would love a TCE, what's the performance like to you?

Thanks mate :) I cant commment properly on performance as I've never owned anything very quick but it is plenty quick enough for town driving etc. Get about 35.5 MPG atm. In terms of acceleration, they are quicker than other cars ive driven which i thought it would be slower than (1.7 TDCI Astra, 1.4 Alfa Mito). In terms of handling.....bad to start with....but with coilovers, correct tracking/wheel allignment and good tyres it handles quite well :)

172 injectors, and RS tuning map! 140bhp 155lb/ft would suit that nicely!!

didnt think the gains would be that good off injectors and a remap? Anyone done it to the tce before? Thought it might be more worthwhile on the diesel

yep sure would im running just a stage 1 high torque map as the injectors hold it back and am getting 120bhp 145lbft

172 injectors added into it and your looking at 135-140bhp, add in an intercooler, exhaust, induction etc and you can get close to the turbos 150bhp limit

Hmm, can honestly say something ive not really looked into. Im not particularly mechanically minded so not sure where i would start if i was to take on something like that? When you say 172 injectors, would that be with the rails included and will they straight swap over for my current injectors? Also, i assume it is a live map you are running then? If so, where did u get it done? I would like to do a bit of research into it tbh as i think i will be keeping this car for a while now. Would you need to run a decat if you had this done? As i think they sound horrid on a 1.2 lol

mine is a generic map from Henk @ fastchip, costs about £200 maby a bit more depending on exchange rate, he sends you the software, map and RS tuner box to upload it to your car and you do it yourself, easy! same as everyone running them on 172/182's - mine has the 120bhp/145lbft on an otherwise standard car (well ktec panel filter)

172 injectors go on your current rail so you just need the injectors and need a remap for them to work, RS tuning are the people to speak to about this as they have done loads.

decat isn't needed no, however upto 10bhp to be had from one! I didn't want a loud exhaust as im too old for that now, but too much power to be had from a decat to ignore it! but on the standard system it should still be pretty quiet, remember a turbo muffles your exhaust note its not going to be like a n/a 1.2 16v with a decat

Its weird, I actually had a decat on when i bought the car with a ktr dump valve. Hated both noises lol so just plugged where i had the dump valve and had a cat added. So now ive basically got a straight through pipe from cat back (think powerflow but not sure, previous owner had it done). I think if i was to remap i would have to sort out how ive got my turbo set up, maybe a re-circ valve or something and i wouldnt want to damage the blades. Ahh i actually remember reading on your thread about your map, didnt you have trouble originally? Get it sorted in the end? Does that £200 include a RS tuner btw?

Also thats quite good about the injectors as they arent too expensive from what ive seen. If your pushing up to 130/140 bhp would gearbox etc cope?

yeah had a bit of bother but henk sorted it out, needed an adjustment to the map, not sure if it was built for a clio tce rather than twingo or if I have something non genuine causing issues but henk saw the problem once I done a data log with the rs tuner and adjusted it, been fine since.

I got my injectors for £20 from memory not got round to fitting them yet I want to get an intercooler, decat and induction setup sorted first before I go for another map.

gearboxes are usual Renault gearboxes, as long as they are used properly then they will be fine, do burnouts and have it scrambling for grip in lower gears and you will soon break something lol! Clutches apparently struggle with power when you start pushing the 140hp mark, ill deal with that when I come to it, uprated ones are available.

best bet is keep your eye on ebay for a standard recirc valve, I saw a megane 230 one that looked the same but I don't know anything about them so not sure if its a different part internally

Yeah gonna look into the re-circ valve, means i will loose my fun turbo flutter sound :( Ah cool, tbh, i would really happy with another 20bhp and bunch of torque. Did u notice a big difference when u did it? Would personally like to see more in 2nd and 3rd. Also, nah, im 23......dont fancy ruining my daily (crucial for my job) by doing burnouts lol.

Also, will contact RS Tuning, not far down the road and see what they say. Might be a good idea for a christmas present :)

I noticed a huge difference, the standard map is designed so that the car doesn't feel turbo charged, since it wasn't designed as a "performance" engine and it would confuse the old dears if it was giving them nothing, nothing then a kick in the kidneys.

so now it pulls as it normally did until around 2000rpm then you get 1bar of boost in one lump and takes off!, full throttle in first gear is a no go and 2nd gear it needs to be dry, 3rd gear in the wet it will spin a wheel if you catch a bump on the road or are exiting a bend.

if you look at my RR graph, ive stuck the red line on the graph where the standard maximum torque figure is, and you can see my torque mountain lol

YES! Love the look of that! Bet its pretty quick with the weight of the twingo! Is it running standard boost as well then?

no its running 1 bar of boost not sure what the standard car runs it wasn't standard long enough to check haha
its pretty quick for what it is, I like it, was a big step down in power coming from the clio 200 but the expression on some people faces when they go for it and realise they have a twingo glued to their bumper is good fun :)

Youve got yourself a mini sleeper ;) Im pretty sure the standard boost is 0.5Bar on the tce. Find it more impracticall to drive in winter with the extra torque?

Intercooler + 172/182 injectors + remap should see you to around 130-140bhp according to the email I got back from RS tuning when I enquired about getting mine done.... although I don't know what gains I'd get from mine because last time it was on the rollers was pushing 123.1 at the fly with no map just the de-silencered exhaust and 57i idk :)
