FIA GT Silverstone Sunday (Pic Heavy)

My first time at this event and i thought it was pretty good, the GT and GT3 races were both really enjoyable to watch and photograph.

good pics mate! what settings did you use??

Canon 400d, 70 - 200 F4 L, set to Tv mode then shutter speeds between 1/50s and 1/200s. And lots of pictures taken!

Some lovely car park metal there, aside from a Veyron I didn't see too much dotted around on Saturday.

These are from the Sunday. I think the weather was a bit better on the Saturday though.

Cheers. I always make sure i wander around all the car parks as you never know what you might find, there still wasn't as much exotica around as i've seen at previous events there though.

I started on the straight between Copse and Maggotts which is where the GT3 shots were taken, and then went to Priory before working my way along between Farm and Club. I never seem to go to as many spots as i'd like to though! I was pleased i had plenty of opportunity to play around with the shutter speeds and try and improve in that area.

Great pics! Love the Masser MC12 - great car that. I've got the skin for that downloaded for GTR2 on the PC.

Isn't it the last year this year for the GT cars? No more Saleens, MC12's, Moslers, etc?
