Rolling from 20-120ish...not trying to set records so no rushed race-car shifts...but gives a good sense of in-gear shove...

Please don't take the wrong way but are they bowling shoes?

Nice shoes, Mark. Real slick. Lol!
Not bad. What do you use to record the figures? Something like Torque?
I can accept those shoes on a track day. Were you on a track day?
0-100 16 sec ???
Yes.
I know...a bit slow. Once weather improves and traction is less of an issue I'll head to 'Tangmere' and do a proper run.
16 sec is not to bad I thought as you said about 18 sec for the std car .
'Tangmere' and do a proper run ????? am I missing something , Good road ???
Alan
holds boost well, any plans for an intercooler id imagine intake temps will be high in the summer!
whats your thoughts of the mountune pack then?
How heavy are the new STs out of curiosity?
1,158kgs kerb weight.
That's not bad at all then. Not far off the pace of my Audi at that, but without the fuel bill :dapprove:
Lord 'arris clocked 0-100 in the MP215 he tested as 15.4s...so there's more to come.
'Tangmere' airfield
Not trolling, but it doesnt look that nippy to me.......esp from a rolling start.........
Very true tom i remember both my 172 and 182 running out of puff around then.Thats when may mate would start passing me in his type R.
Lol! Its certainly quicker than a Clio "sport" bearing in mind they hit a brick wall at 100.
Whos comparing this to a clio lol, i just think it looks tame......which i guess is too be expected as its a factory upgrade.

Is that right 182PS?

. Trainers are just as good, if not better because they'll be much more worn in.
Doesn't look rapid, maybe just the way it revs. How is the gearing? The clio is absolute s**t in 5th, it's far too long.
also why the heck would u wear driving shoes? Even if on a track day? Just seems totally pointless to me. Trainers are just as good, if not better because they'll be much more worn in.

No, they're 200PS standard.
If they are only 182 PS then Surrey Rolling Road is way off on its calibration...
They're 182PS / 179BHP standard mate
No they aren't. Well, for insurance purposes they are, but they have a 20 second (iirc) overboost which as Mark says takes them up to 200.
