filling holes..

how easy is it to fill the hole if you debadge the bonnet? I was gonna take it to a bodyshop to get it done but if i could smooth it myself then get it sprayed thinkin it mite b cheaper....

i think a plate has to be welded across the holes, then a skim of filler to smooth it all off

depends how big the hole is. Filler expands and contracts with the heat, so the bigger holes you are filling the more cracking youll get. Also when the bonnet slams the filler may crack if there are big holes.
