Filling up gearbox

How? Ive got a 1.4 8v 2000 and can see the wingnut. Thing is I think its plastic and it compltly solid. Not to keen to hit with a hammer seeing as how I think its plastic. Any ideas please?

BTW how much does it usually take to fill up a gearbox?

get a pair ofgrips on it, im not surehow much it takes, but keep putting it in until it pours out of the hole!

you need the siringe to fill it, think my gearbox took, 3/4 litres

Tip - warm up the oil first, it'll pour much quicker, meaning you won't have to stomach the horrible stench any longer that you actually need to!!

Yeah will do,always do with the engine oil. That smell is 1 pf the few things that makes me feel sick! Thanks for the tip.
