Same as above. im gettin a replacement filter for me airbox but is there any difference between makes? Or are they alkl pretty much made to the same standard?
K&N is old 60s technology with poor filtration levels, they reply largely on maive marketing and million mile gaurantee to replace broke ones since the are so cheap to make.
I know alot of buddies in the states that do motorcross and baja racing and they learnt the hardway from using K&Ns....it just doesnt filter out dirt....epsecialy when in poor condition. paper elements do filter the best, but you need massive surface area to get the flow needed.
Typically foam filters are the nxt best thing, and ITG are the only brand i personally use.
basically our company - Power Train, stocks ITG products, so either u get ur ass down to Hinckley, give us the money and pick one up - or u send me a cheque and Ill post them. dunno how much postage would be - fiver probly.
What screwdriver do you need to get the air box lid off? I had a brief look, it looked like one of those weird star ones, any one know what size? Itd be really annoying to have the filter and not be able to fit it.
As far as I am aware most insurers dont mind a PANEL filter, as it doesnt involve any actual modificatiom, unlike an induction kit.
