Filters/Noise

I am after getting a more "beefy" noise from my 2002 1.2 16v Clio. After talking to the insurance company exhausts and induction kits are out of the question.

Can you get performance replacement element filters for my car and do these do much for noise/performance?

Also are there any other ways of getting this "noise"??

WHy not just get an induction kit and keep your old air box in the boot. If you ever stack it just swap the induction round. Its only a couple of bolts, surely? Much easier than changing an exhaust system back to standard.

If you are serious about wanting more noise then just drill some holes in your airbox (on the outside of filter side). Wont do you any favours in terms of power, cos itll let hot air in instead of cold, but it should be louder.
