Finally Fitting New Seats

As title says ill be fitting my 172 Semi-leather seats in my 1.2 dynamique this weekend, just woundering ive head that you must unplug the battery for 30 mins before you unscrew and unplug the air bag wire out of the old ones. How come you have to wait 30 mins (Curious)? Also is thier anything i need to do percifically before fitting and plugging in new seats?

i never did and it was fine.

im guessing because of the capacitors discharging?

u need to wait 30 mins to allow current airbags to discharge - you dont want them blowing up in ure face!
