Finally had my car PC'd

Car  titanic killer
Thanks to JMRmonaco who came to my house on sunday to pc my car:D
first we clayed the bonnet and wings as the rest of the car was in not bad shape and then clayed the roof
James used the bonnet as a tester to see what cut and which polishes to use
anyway he started while it was sunny but thank god we had cover then he finished when the sun was going down and heres a few i took and the better ones are what james took on his very tidy camera

Christ, think I can see my reflection in the last picture! Beautiful, nice one James.

Thanks for all the comment guys, yeah it was a good day just wish the sun could of waited for us lol
Im well impressed with the results as it had some small scraches and there all gone now and its as smooth as glass

Wonder what the reason is for using what looks like a 4" spot pad on the roof and bonnet? I always use a 6" Unless its the pics making it look smaller. Looks tip top though!!! :) Fook doing it as a job, i HATE it!!!

Im sure James will be along soon to answer your pcing questions cos i couldnt tell you

Yeah. The usual way to do a clio (imo) would be to use the 4" pad on the wings, bumpstrips and below all round, boot and bumper. Bigger panels like bonnet, roof and above bump strips i'd use a 6" as it saves time. Just curious that all (might learn something lol)

I'm here!

Had a great day sorting adam's car out, good hospitality too, bought me lunch and kept me topped up with coffee.;)
And bought me some 6 led xenon style sidelight bulbs:cool: Need to get the standard yellow ones out and in the bin. Cheers for them.:)

Only seem to have pics of when we had the 4" spot pad on. Reason for that was getting rid of the local scratches that Adam pointed out. Some areas needed working on the bonnet and there was a six inch scratch on the roof which we did our best to reduce. Apart from a small witness mark on the roof one, the scratches to the front and rear wings were eradicated.:D

I personally think this is one of the best looking cars in the club. I couldnt believe the condition when I turned up, just shows how well Adams looked after it. The process helped get rid of the usual surface scratching from everyday driving and weekly washes.
Bonnet ending up looking like a mirror!

For those of you who want to know we used;
Sonus Green Clay
Megs Last Touch cut 70/30 with filtered water.
Menz IP on yellow pads
Menz Final Finish on white pads
Jeffs Acrylic Jett Trigger spray [gotta get myself some of this!!]

Thanks for the comments

ps now get that garage cleared out Adam!!!:rasp:

Haha i new you'd be here soon,if i could get rid of all my gym equipment and fishing gear etc i would love to get it in there ill tell ya,

Fcuk using the step ladders! I'd be worried about scratchin the paint if i fell or it tilted!

Good job tho!

I thought id get mine done before the winter and all i need to do now is keep adding layers of the jeffs and i do agree its so easy to use, very good product

Looks spot on Adam. Nice day for it too by the looks of it. Hope to get mine done in the near future. Are you impressed with the new springs, much difference over standard?

A up chris, yeah well happy with them mate only a 20mm drop on front and 25mm on back but its feels more planted now and it doesnt look like a 4x4 now lol
It was a nice day for it like i say the end pics were just as the sun was going behind the houses but it still looked great
