He has just offered to replace them but has suggested I go for dark grey ones as they are a better quality vinyl. Think I am just going to ask for a refund tho as grey wont look right.

They are R27 style decals. R27 ones are grey and have writing on them.

Didn't know whether Renault did different colour ones

Nice car, although the stickers are wrong on many levels.

Aside from them not looking very nice, they just look a bit odd.

Its a bit like a 182 owner putting a cheap wrong coloured version of the 'Trophy' decal on their sills and hoping to get away with it.

Leave the R27 stickers to the R27's because they just look far better somehow

Quite a substantial difference between a 182 owner putting trophy stickers on their car and me putting these on. Trophy stickers actually say Trophy, and as such they would be badging the car as something it is not. However these do not imply that the car is an R27 as there is no mention of the Formula 1 wins. I bought black because black goes far better with white than grey imo. I was trying to source World Series by Renault stickers but that was going no where and came across these which imo look far better.

There are other plans for the car, but financial restraints (saving to move in with MrsDuck) prevent me doing these now. Unfortunately not all of us are CS millionaires and can carry out every single mod we want to do all at once.

As has been pointed out by someone else, I am going for the track look, so things like lowering and more track focused wheels etc are on the cards. As is some other styling touches including the side strips and mirrors etc.

I wonder if you would have got the same reaction had you been able to get some World Series Stickers as French Cups have, again, not the same as the r27 ones. No one seems to b**ch when people put r3 stickers on either.

Personally I'm not a fan, but then you know mine is staying plain.
