Firefox problem

All of a sudden, sites (like CS) that I view in firefox, my log-in details aren't being saved, having to re-enter username and password every time I restart the browser. Any idea?

Try Tools -> Options -> Security
is Remember passwords for sites ticked?

Could be that it's set to clear private data when you close it down:
Tools -> Options -> Privacy
Untick Always clear my private data when I close firefox

Those are both as they should be, haven't changed any settings, just suddenly started playing up

Running the most recent version of firefox, had no problems. Only thing that has changed, is I installed datadoctor ipod recovery software, had the problem since then,

No ideas? Only happens on cliosport and hotmail, and only with firefox. In safari and IE, saves all my login details without any issue.

Just tried that, no difference. Pistonheads and several other sites are fine, but everytime I come on here I'm having to re-enter my username and password, despite having checked the remember me box. May have to back to using IE!

I keep getting this on firefox and IE when i go to open a new tab to go to another website, only started this afternoon, using safari at the moment..
