New to the site and probably going to ask the same question all newbies ask! sorted myself a 57 plate 197, pick it up from Motorhouse, Cannock a week Friday. Had my eye on their site for a while, watching the two they had for sale, my budget and part ex sent me for the cheaper one unfortunatley even though besides the mileage they are pretty much the same car. Anyway, bought the car in super quick time (bored missus and kid on tow) the car drove well and on the surface things looked pretty much as they should with my reasonable mechanical eye, however I am no Clio expert so when I pick the motor up and hand over the cash what should I pay particular attention too fellas? I have asked them to replace the steering wheel as its ripped and thats part of the deal, besides that I felt I had a reasonable deal, getting 4k for my diesel 307, with £3.5k to pay for the 42,000 mile 197. If the car is known on here (by chance) I would appreciate any points, probably bad ones I suspect. Cheers.
