First attempt at animal pics

Took these just before my brothers wedding, had to take out the flash effect of my jack russell's eyes
Using my Eos350d with standard 18-55mm lens

Tell me what you think

would be much nicer outdoors i think mate, just looks a bit untidy with stuff in background etc...

the first one looks so sweet, so cute

Took them off the cuff, wasnt planned lol, was going to a wedding!

like someone said....try some outside stuff.
You seemed to have used direct flash......be it animal, person or still life can be very unflattering.
quite quirky little subjects.....get them in the garden grab some of their fav titbits and tease them to do what you want.
put them into the picture.....i.e choose the location and bring them into it.
And try to get down to eye level with the dog.........
