First Buyer and want a Clio

Car  First Buyer
I've found a Renault Clio 1.4 16v Expression, 53 reg, 3 door, manual, petrol. Its done 96,000 miles. £1595.

Is this a decent deal?

If I go and see the car what are some of the general checks I can do.

can anyone help my on a first buy?

Thank you

Steve

The boosh is selling an 02 plate dynamique with lower miles for similar money.

Dynamique is a much better spec imo. 96k is a lot of miles for a 53 plate Clio!!

Cheers Daniel san :D The ebay auction ends wednesday and had no serious interest as of yet. Does your deal still stand?

Im guessing with 81 it was still running well?

Mine's never had a problem with it, and i've had it since end of November last year and put another 2k on it. You just have to make sure that the cambelt has been changed (mine hadn't).

Righto think ill go by the advise that that is a bit to much mileage shore a can find a nice one with less miles.

to be honest u dont have to worry about high miles on renault petrol engine, only the 1.2 16v are a nightmare.
