First Car, First Mod. Help Needed.

Got a set of ph1 172 seats in a ph2 expression and they are in the car ready to go. just the problem is that the wiring needs to be soldered as the previous owner broke the connectors and therefore soldered. sounds easy but not being experienced in mod'ing im not sure how to do these sort of things. took it to the local renault garage and they said that clio's dont normally have side airbags and they arent compatible and a load of crap as i know they fit. anyone know the wiring colours for the side airbags? the pretensioners colours have been sorted so just need the airbag wires sorted. any help is appreciated, cheers.

your airbag computer won't be programed for side airbags so theres no point connecting them up , if you do you'll have to go back to renault to have it on the computer and reconfigured , if it will let it configure it.

If your standard seats didn't have side airbags then you won't have anything to connect them upto surely.

the original standard seats from the car do have side airbags though

for a first mod, a new interior is pretty big, do you research before purchasing

Also, they do connect, i will check wires tommorrow and pop round to help.
