First go at Cleaning the 182

  330ci Conv
Took the car to the local car wash for a normal wash and car looked really swirly after it had dried and wasnt impressed. Yes my bad for taking it to car wash in the first place!

Went and brought the 3 step megs cleaning gear... paint cleaner, polish, wax. Took ages but was very pleased with the results. Took a few quick pictures after the clean on the phone but didnt have much time to go and take some proper pics.

What do you think......?

Yeah I think I will stay away from those hand car wash places from now on, looked a state when I took it from there. I could of spent a little more time on polishing and cleaned the plastic and windows properly.

Anyone know of a descent product to clean the plastic front grill?

Good work, the blue looks cool when clean...

But yes stay well away from the "hand car wash for £5" type places if you care about your paint work.

Yesterday I compared my car with my mates Dynamique which were both built in the same year and both Pearl Black - the difference in paint colour and condition was incredible; a dull matt black versus a high gloss black with all the flake shining through. Shows you what a little love and attention can achieve!
