first mod to my 182 WHAT SHOULD IT BE?

any ideas guys i knew screw all about doing up cars so what does everyone think my first expense should be on????

lol guys i have no idea you may as well talk french to me.... coilovers are what?? do what??

i know f-all but really wanna spice things up a bit and wandered what to do first
 
Depends how much money you've got to play with...?

My first 'mod' was an uprated stereo. Then colourcoding which cost me next to nothing.
Exhaust was next and hopefully soon coilovers, so as I said, budget is more of an issue.

i see........ can someone tell me what coilovers are and do?????

i was expecting most people to say air induction kit or something like that!

cost isnt that much off an issue!
 
id say coilovers from h&r and get it slammed, nothing looks better, if the budget isnt that hight then a de-cat and a re-map would be best.

bad seats???? me missus' dad just bought an RS4 and the seats in that are genius but i wouldnt have said 182 seats are bad!

how much is it for recaros>??? and how much would i get back from selling my 182 seats????
 
So far my 182 has had:

Carbon Fiber Splitter
Eibach Proline Springs (being fitted this weekend)
then will get an ITG Panel Filter
possibly a new exhaust in time

Not much more after that I dont think :)
 
i find the seating posn is too high the seats themselves are nice, 1st thing i did and the best thing then was my cupra r splitter!!
 
A nice decat pipe from Fred at yozzasport was my first mod.....a lot more throttle response, also the 5k kick feels better now.
Just as long as you can handle changing it for the MOT....its only a 20 min job.

I would say the same. Only put up with my standard seats for 6 months before I had enough. s**t is an understatement, dont really need to do anything else to it now as they have saved about 20kg and made the car 10 times more fun to drive.
 
Dont do remap because you will prob do other stuff i just picked up exhaust and carbon splitter
 
leave it as it is for now.

do a track day with some lessons instead. learn the driving abilities of ur car first before upgrading.

I did a track session in mine and the only thing my car could have done with is better brakes and coilovers.

Due to me cooking the brakes and my back wheel kept coming up and loosing grip.

depends on the direction and your focus. what do you want the car to do? go quicker? handle better? brake better? etc etc

luckily there's loads of choice now in Clio tuning, just beware for salesmen masquerading as tuners
