First pictures of my car - Nervasport alloys

These are the first pictures I've posted on here of my car as I've not got a job or anything so not very much money to mod my car with yet.

Eventually it will be a 172 replica similar to Karls, I've got all the parts at the moment but I'll make a project thread when I can afford to finish it off.

Anyway, I have been looking for these wheels for about half a year, finally found a decent set for a decent price (£250 with tyres).

Then I discovered that the tyres wouldn't fit on the car for anything, due to being 50 profile. Tried spacers, more spacers, sanding the paint off the strut that it was rubbing on - everything.

I found some Toyo Proxes 4 on eBay for £210 so today I went to Oldham for them fitted to the wheels and get them put on my car. Didn't need spacers, and fitted JUST about which was lucky. Amazing what difference a centimetre can make.

(Also, I know it needs lowering, I know it's filthy and I do have plans for lots of mods so no need to comment on any of that, just the wheels for now. )

Haha nah just had a lot saved up. I've never had a job which is quite bad for a 19 year old, no idea how I've done it though. Bought everything myself including car & insurance.

The wheels and tyres were £245 fitted :rasp:

Not the eBay ones, some guyfrom meganesport knew someone who could get some, went all the way to Whitby to pick them up haha.

Only a few tiny kerbing marks though, nothing a bit of sanding and spraying won't sort so I was pleased with the condition.

No idea if you can even buy them from Renault, I'd expect they would cost a fortune. Just keep searching on megane forums and eBay and some will crop up.

I didn't need spacers (only JUST) with the 40 profile tyres, but I'm putting some 20mm ones on anyway. You can get away with 10mm ones easy.
