Fit new springs!!

  58 Dynamique S 1.2 TCE
I have bought some new springs, and was wondering if anyone new of a good cheap place to get them fitted around wirral, chester, liverpool way. thanks

I havent had any, Or read any experience with the MK3 springs...

For the MK2's eibach are pretty popular.

Personally just out of choice i would go with Eibach.

If your good with a spanner change them yourself. You might need some spring clamps and some tools but the jobs faily easily done.

Otherwise i would expect to pay around £50 - £100 at a garage for fitment.

all depend on your buget tbh mate.......
h&r are the best springs available for the mk3 at the min......retail around £185 can lower 30mm or 45mm

next you looking at eibach prolines which drop 30mm..... retail at about £150

then there is fk that do a 40mm drop all round or a 60mm front 40mm rear........retail about £150 (standard front shocks wouldnt last long on the -60mm springs)

the above 3 makes are the top of the market in terms of development and quality. they are progressivly wound to help with straight line comfort and improve looks and road holding.

then you have spax, apex and pi wich are around £100 and drop between 35mm and 45mm. these will give a hard ride and will be crashy over bumps in corners and straight lines because they are not as progressivly wound as the range toppers. more for looks than cornering performance.

most of the lads on here with NON SPORT mk3s run -45mm h&r springs with 40-50mm per axle spacers (also my set up when i get round to fitting them)

if you have around £600+ then you can look at getting coilovers but ive not done as much home work with them as i think they are over the top for road use.........

Thanks a lot for that, Can anyone on here get good prices for the H&R and the Eibach, Think I am leaning towards the H&R springs.

Just need someone to fit them or a gargage that will fit for a good price.

I won a set of Spax adjustable suspension (springs and shocks) for £140 on eBay yesterday. They are brand new and only been out the box for pictures - pretty glad with the result on that so best bet is to check eBay!

motorsportworld, euro performance, venom motorsports are a few good dealers at decent prices......

220 quid to fit spring is way too much, 120 including tracking check is about what you should be paying....

Going for the Eibach springs. Found them for £135 from Potn.

Been quoted £80 as cheapest to get them fitted.

Does this sound ok.
