Fitted Alpine headunit now auto headlights dont work

Have i done something wrong or is this the norm?

have u pressed the button (lent on it by accident) on then end of the lighting stalk while fitting the head unit coz that turns the auto light function on and off i think ?

to reactivate the auto lights you have to turn the light stalk from the 0 to sidelights twice and there will be two beeps to confirm reactivation , like wise do it once and a single beep confirms that auto lights is turned off ....hope this helps
