Fitting 182 interior...airbag query!

Fitting my 182 interior into my mk2 ph2 clio tomorrow!was wondering about the airbags...can i just unplug the originals and put the new ones in?or do i need to disconnect the battery?need help,as dont want airbags deciding to deploy!

actually do it with power still going through it i fancy a laugh

LOL @ McBunny. Disconnect battery for about 20mins before you start. Ensure you have your radio code to hand though
