Fitting 182 manifold

Is this a job that any garage could do?

I know it involves dropping the subframe, but would any garage be able to do the work or is there anything renault specific that specialists would need to do?

Reason I'm asking is because the car is booked in to get a new cat back exhaust system fitted and I was wondering whether its worth getting them to do the manifold whilst they're at it - as well as fabricating a decat link pipe.

i wouldnt have thought its a job for renault no special service tools required so they should be ok to do it

yeah its quite easy tbh, imo nothing is a specialist job on these cars other than maybe ecu coding/diagnostics etc.
its only a renault at the end of the day, its just these particular cars seem to get so hyped up as specialist maintainance only.

I'm asuming the car has to be up proper high on 4 axle stands to allow enough room? I'm sure i'll find out.

yeh i can imagine it being quite tricky on the floor as the sheer length of the thing means it has to come down at quite an angle
