fitting 182 steering wheel..

Just wondered how easy it would be to fit a 2006 182 steering wheel to my 2001 dynamique? is there anything I should know or do? or should I take it somewhere to get done especially with the airbag etc!

Can be done by yourself very easily, half an hour job or so.

I havent had a look at it yet, but how as in how does it physically come off? does a wire for the airbag unplug and then just plug in the new one? does it cause any probs with airbag light? etc

Airbag is only held onto the sterring wheel with two clips, just get a screwdriver and lever the airbag off. It's just the one connecter for the airbag IIRC, just unplus then replugs in. I just used my old airbag, but it doesn't effect eh airbag light.

Ross, why are you doing this? Do not build a 182 replica and include the 182s faults! Get a good aftermarket wheel, not the bus wheel that we have.

Yeah, I know what you mean.. it was just that a 2006 wheel from a 182 was on ebay going cheap and then I was outbid by 9p! sold for £60.09! gutting but hey maybe its a good thing! lol..

dude dont do it. Buy yourself a nice sparco or momo wheel youl be a lot happier. I shall be getting one soon!

Ive had this one waiting to go in for ages but dont trust myself to do it,ill prob have the airbag go off in my face

id personally have the 182 wheel over a sparco wheel!!!

sparco and momo whells are for like... evos and things like that

a 182 is like a beautiful lady, treat it with care

Got one of those and personally this sparco feels so much better in your hands imo

Nich wheel turner, i shall be getting the same shiznit. Get sweaty hands so will be perfect. Unplug the battery and airbag wont go off.

Yeah i new to take battery off 20mins before hand, but i havent had a good enough look of how the airbag clips off!
