Fitting a 16V dash





OK can anyone tell me whats involved in fitting a 16V dash to and RSI?

Basically I want the extra dials so only want to replace what I absolutely have to

You just need the extra dials, mounting bracket, blanking plug and the top half of the dash, not sure about wiring.

So how hard is it ?(bearing in mind I usually have trouble working out wich end of a screwdriver to use)

and how much is the going rate for the bits?

The instrument pod wont be cheap. Expensive at Renault hence its a sought after scrapyard part. The gauges do knacker every now and again which is the reason why theyll be pricy!

You probably need to change the senders from the oil circuits so it can power each dial properly, like the pressure and temp etc..

The actual mechanics of fitting it will be easy, just the wiring up and getting them to work might be a tad pricy.
