fitting a new alarm i got a few Questions

im thinkin about buying a cheap alarm off ebay or from maplin the shark 2 alarm. its only £40 and to me an alarm is an alarm all do exactly the same thing.

only thing im a bit funny about is wiring it up to the standard imoboliser and central locking do i just leave it from the imobliser and just have it as a seporate circuit and leave the imoboliser as it is?

and with the central locking how do they usually wire up to that so bassically when you press the central locking button it turns the alarm on as well or can u keep that seporate as well?

im going to install a microwave sensor as well since i think its more effective when ppl hear a noise from a car if they go near it rather then them lookin at a sticker in the window that tells them it has an alarm.

Have almost exactly the same prob, but i've brought my alarm, on the advert, said easy to fit, can be fitted with little or no car knowledge, it intergreats into central locking, which was my main reason for buying as my fob has broken, and has prooven expensive to fix, but took a lot of the car apart and started tampering with wires etc, but no joy, i got doors to lock and unlock by touching wires, but not using new fobs. Any help??

I'd pay a pro & get it fitted properly.
Last thing you need is to be locked out & have the alarm going off at all times of the day...
