Fitting ac pipe

Went to get my ac regassed and they found a pipe that is split, they told me that I needed to get it from renault and has to be fitted by a specialist and not to do it myself? The part number for the pipe is 6000073794. It looks simple and I see a few second hand ones for sale with warranty, does it need special tools or am I missing something? Oh ye it's on a ph2 172 2003
