Fitting An Amp

Hi all,
Ive just bought a Phase 2 172 and wanting to know if anyone has managed to fit an amp in the boot?
At present ive got mine all wired up but not sure how to fix it to the back of the rear seats? There doesnt seem to be anything behind the seats to fix the screws into..
Has anyone got any help or advice they can give me please?
I would be grateful.

Unzip the seats, pop in a bit of MDF, zip them up and screw the amp in

Thanks, What thickness MDF is it best to use?
I just dont want to get it too thin or i can imagine the material on the seat will stretch forward with the weight of the amp?
Do you need to afix the MDF to the springs or anywhere behind the material?

Under the seat looks like a good idea however i imagine you have to drill it to the floor?
I wouldnt fancy putting holes in the chasis!.

no ive just screwed it into some MDF, made a box that fits very snug in the trough if you can see?

Ancient bump, where did you earth to and how did you get the seat off the runners to work on it like that?
