fitting bottom ball joint

im goin to be attempting to fit a new bottom ball joint 2 moro as i think this is causing the clunking noise im getting, can anyone give me some tips on the best easiest way of removing fitting etc, the only thing im worried about is pulling the shaft out by mistake ,

To remove the ball joint I used a balljoint wedge thingy, just hit it in with a hammer until it drops down. It looked like a big fork like this http://static.speedwaymotors.com/RS/SR/Product/91089600_L.jpg

Last time I did mine on the drive they were a right sod to 'pop' out of the hub!

Ball joint breaker / fork. Also used this tool to remove my windscreen wipers on my old 172!

I only had difficulty with the pinch bolt being seised. You shouldn't have any issues with the driveshafts popping out now that you are aware of it. If you have dificulty with anything just post up.
