fitting carbon splitter

I got my new carbon splitter through the post at the weekend for my 182, opened the packet and read the instructions which said i have to drill x amount of holes (cant remember how many) in to the splitter for the screws, fair enough, then it said i have to drill holes in the bumper too, but surely with it being a ff and already having a splitter fitted all id need to do is drill holes in to the splitter in the same place the bumper already has the holes in from the standard splitter, is this right or do i have to drill new holes? :S being a girl i sometimes dont understand these things very well lol

LOL! Bless! Yeh you can just line up the splitter and drill holes into it in the same place the holes are in the bumper.

hehe thanks shweppy, i am not stupid like you're probably thinking right now! I just have quite alot of blonde moments and wanted to be sure i didnt have a big one before i started drilling holes here there and everywehre :rasp:

I'd probably mark where the holes are going to go first, then drill them out. Then you can screw it straight in.

lol sharkaroo and marky how sexist are YOU!! I will fit it myself and prove you wrong that a girl with many blonde moments can suceed in fitting her own carbon splitter!! I will take girls with blonde moments to a higher level in society grrr :rasp: *takes a while to think about whether this will actually happen and whether DD wants to risk splashing out yet more money on the same mod*

hehe give me time dude!! :rasp: i need to find someone with a drill first, hmmm i live with my mum and my sister so i doubt either of them will own one :S maybe the decrepit granny next door will, you should never judge people on apearances after all lol.
