Fitting front badge unit

My diamond badge on the front of my 03 clio dissappeared, I now have a nice new one but it's the whole unit, ie silver badge on the black surround.

Any ideas how I can fit it? I've looked under the bonnet to see if I can get to the back of the current black badge surround on my car to get it off, but seems to be in front of the rad and I can't get to it... is it a bumper-off job or something?

bumper off or remove the grille, its only a 5 min fix with a couple of screws!
