Fitting Lexus Lights

My new Lexus lights (for my mrk 1) are arriving tomorrow and id like to have a go at fitting them myself, was wondering if anyone could give me step by step instructions, or just simply some advice on how to get the old lights out, and to put the new ones in. I heard you just plug the new ones straight in...

dont know how complex the new ones are but the old ones just simply unscrew with a black bolt in the boot, you do this by hand...

I imagine the new lenses simply clip on the same probably using the same electrics as the old, you will find that the plate with the bulbs and wiring simply unclips from the rear of the lens.

Yeah - unscrew the old ones, un-clip the old bulb plate, clip it into the new ones, make sure the new lenses are seated properly and screw in the bolt. Mine took 10 minutes and the only reason they took that long was because I dropped the little plastic bolt thing and had to go and find something to retrieve it from under the car.

The lights came just 20 mins ago! so i took one of the old lights off.. and im not gona attempt to fit them myself! looks far too complicated.. (insert blonde comment here) theyll be fitted by my friend later
