fitting manifold?

just wondering has anyone fitted a manifold on a clio 182 without a ramp. If so how hard/easy is it?

would u get it off with just jacks and blocks, or should i pay £80 for garage to do it?

Sounds a bargain to be honest. Save yourself the hassle.

You will do it with a jack yes but it won't be a cake walk. I find it easier if the entire engine comes forward an inch or two... To do that it needs to come up (or down) first.

Sounds similar to my standard 4-2-1. I need to rock the engine forward and it's still tight. Oh and the studs will no doubt snap on the head! Fml!

A few favours are going to need called in!

Studs might snap on a Ford engine. Mine didn't make any problems. It's a dropped subframe job but is possible on axle stands.
