fitting maxogen help

Having a pop at fitting the maxogen, got the old air box off ok, just the old feed that im having trouble with, how do i get that off, seems to be attached to something?

The feed is attatched to the acoustic v/v.

It's suggested that you remove this (don't have to though)

The feed that connects to this is just a push fitting, should just pull off.

ok cheers, ill put more effort in when trying to pull it off! just didnt wanna be too heavy handed!

is the acoustic valve easy enought to remove once under the car?

got it off now, got the maxogen in with a struggle, i know its apparently a tight fit, didnt think it'd be this tight! it seems to be touching something at every point, is this correct?

also where does the small teardrop bit of metal go!

The 'teardrop piece' goes where one of the air feeds used to be.

It's a bit of trial and error to adjust it so it doesn't touch anything. (probably need a third pair of hands lol)

Pretty sure this is the same IK as my friend put on, if so be careful it doesn't rub a hole through the return coolant pipe like it did on his.
