Fitting non airbag wheel/cruise buttons

I want to fit a non gen wheel and still keep the cruise. Anyone done it?

Any help greatly appreciated.

ive not done it but it should be possible with a bit of effort.

thought about relocating the button somewhere else?

Thought of mounting the buttons on the wheel. Someone must have done it already, what with the excellent quality/durability of the factory wheel
