Fitting side skirts to rep (CS wings)

  M135i
The final piece for my rep is side skirts, ive gt myself 4 side skirt clips which will hopfully be enough, 2 on either side , 1 at each end. but was just wondering how these are fitted on and where abouts. Also should i use anything else to hold them on ?

Think there are 2 rivet holes on the ends which you can secure by going through the wheel arch.

Thanks in advance

On the sport models they're rivveted on all the way accross by about 8 each side, I'm wanting to know this too as I've got mine to go on soon lol.

Cheers

you will need at least 4 on each side mate, you then have to drill holes in your car just above the sill and pop rivet them in place, i then added extra screws, one at each end going into the wheel arch and a couple underneath

if you do it right you dont need to adjust them

all mine are rivited. 1st one i cocked up. wrong way round like a right tit. but you do need more than 4

there easy enough to fit though

How do i line them up just right ? not been out to have a look yet as its raining but thinking about it, lineing the clips up in the exact right place is goin to be difficult.

Thanks for all the help guys, need these on asap.

not sure if its the same with the official skirts but on my rep ones: offer the skirt up to the car, then run some masking tape along the car where the top of the skirt would be, put a clip inside the lip skirt so you can measure how far up the lip it will go ( on the rep ones the loads of fibre glass crap inside them so they often dont meet the very top of the lip. then rivet the clip to the car below the line at the require distances, mine were all about 1cm - 1.5cm below the line.

hope that makes sense.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I like to use the search function :)

I'm picking my skirts up from the bodyshop tomorrow and they're going onto my MK2 PH2 sport rep, should I use the clips that I managed to source? I have all of them by the way.

If so are they easy to fit?
