fixing car tomorrow !!

Car  182 ff
right after the new years blow out , i need to sort out my wheels now i dont wanna leave my car jacked up for about 5 hours so how do i leave the front left wheel on bricks etc never done it before etc

just knowing my luck if i leave it jacked up it will collapse

mark

loosen wheel nuts, jack it up, put axle stands under, Done. Providing you have decent stands leaving it will be no problem, would stand for a year easily if you wanted lol.

Cant say I've ever used bricks personally, but i dont see why not just make sure they are secure before you lower the jack. Also if it were me id jack from a central point and stack both sides at once then lower to stop them from toppling over.

haha thanks mate u could of helped me the other day the blow out was just outside of middlesbrough , i was staying in wyward or something like that !

yea friends have a place up there and thought london is so s**t NYE all the time so we went up north ended up in empire , one of the wierdest clubs i have ever been in lol

still good laugh but not as good as newcastle for a night out !

Yeah the layout is quite strange in the empire lol. All in all Middlesbrough does have a pretty poor nightlife like, i have most of my nights out in Sheffield as i went to uni there so got loads of mates still down there.

I had a 172 cup on my drive on bricks for about 2 weeks. Was on bricks when the engine was removed and the rest of the stuff and it never budged once. Just make sure the back wheels are wedged with bricks too! I only stuck it on stands the day we put it on a trailer to scrap it ;).
