Fixing cracked windscreens.

Has anyone on here had a cracked windscreen fixed?
If so can you notice where its been fixed?

i had a large stone chip repaired the other day by one of those free windscreen repair companies outside halfords

you can still see it, but its loads better

Thats where i'm taking mine tommorow a freelance company that visit Halford every now and again, he said it will be free as i'm with elephant, so iv'e nothing to lose.

My parents had there done some time agao on there car its just as noticable its just not got any bigger.

Had it fixed today, you can still see it when inside the car, but it's barely visable when outside.
