fk coilovers

Car  Renault clio 1.4 16v
iv finaly done it.. iv just orderd my fk hightsport kit. cant wait for them to come. the only thing is iv no money now lol any one got a guide to fit them? im a mechanic but never fitted them before

you should find it easy to fit but you'll need the tracking and camber checked after.

i've had mine for wellover 2 years now and there still going well

There just like fitting new dampers.

Any Haynes manual will tell you basically though
Rear are easy jack car up unbolt the rear struct under the plactic covers in the boot (one bolt). Then under the the car theres bolt which holds the strut to the suspsneion arm. Do this on both sides and the rear axle fall refit the coilver stuff rear spring platform bolts to the rear suspension arm.

For the front.
Jack up
Remove wheel
Undo the two bolts holding the strut to the shock
Undo the top mount and pull old shock out (need to pull the ABS sensor of) then hold the hub in place with brickec etc so don't damage driveshaft gaiters.

Replace oposite as to how you remove it realy.

Set the height have a look about half was down the thread is about normal I think at the front rear can be wound down all the way.

^Don't wind it all the way down! Unless you want to visit a physio!! I just fitted mine about 3wks ago. they've settled nicely.
