Do you mean the @ button on your keyboard? American settings maybe as I think that switches @ and "

That's the extent of my knowledge buddy

Link? Is the flash not an embedded object that's saved as a swf, so surely what ever it appears as in the swf will be displayed the exact same way on any and all browsers and platforms.

Pc for me, Im set to English UK only difference between this comp and the other I used was this is Vista and that is XP

Hmm. I cant understand that at all. Like I said the flash will be embedded, ie coded the same for everyone. So its dependant on the input of the user how its displayed. Cant see why at all it would not accept the @ for a UK keyboard etc.

Rules of development say you should develop for the most commonly used browser where your content is aimed. IE if your an international company Main focus is IE as most people use that, then Firefox. If your audience is Europe based, the other way round.

Even if you use it, doesn't mean everybody does. 25% of homes in the UK still dont have a broadband connection either. Thats something to think about when using flash/Rich Internet Applications.

Hard not to have rich internet things when your advertising photography with lots of images lol
