Flashing Orange engine management light :S and slight lumpy misfire!!

  Blk/Gold 182 FF
Hey,

As title i guess, been doing this for a while, getting worse and worse! light flashes in the bottom right hand side of the dash, and the car idles like crap! lumpy and bumpy! but when driving it seems ok untill i need to slow down and pull off again, it gets quite hesittant for one word to put it!

plugs were changed at last full service, throttle body was cleaned as well.

Any thoughts?

Had a new lambda not so long back as the EML was on constant. Id love to just buy 4 new injectors, new HT leads, new coil pack, new plugs and be done with it lol that would be rather expensive though i think!!

has anyone had any experience of gettin there injectors professionaly cleaned?

how long ago was last service? someone else recently had a poor idle and it was due to an airleak with the tb or the upper inlets (which are removed to change the plugs)

If it was an air leak in the inlet track it would be holding a high base idle... normally 2.5-3k rpm.

Deffo have it plugged in for a live data session... could be H02, CTS, MAP - the list goes on.

Try pulling connections to injectors one by one, the car should start going even worse and almost die. If there is nodifferance you have found the "cylinder running bad" = almost 100% the coilpack.

The same problem can also be caused by water in the sparkplugg holes. Remove the inlet and ingnitions leads and check this. If you have water in them blow all of it out with compressed air.

If this does not help, Renault

Good luck

Thanks for all the answers dudes! last service full service was about a year ago but had the oil changed a few months back. it doesnt hold a high idle, i think its normal at 1k maybe a tiny bit less? Ill prob buy a new coil pack and injectors when my pay roles in! cant hurt to change them i guess! i do around 1100 miles a month with my job at the moment so i think tha car needs a few new parts :p its on 87,000 miles at the moment aswell!

is it hard to change these parts? I wouldnt mind having a go my self! i can clean the TDC sensor and TB while im at it aswell then

Was just going to have a look at prices of different parts as its bound to be one of them :p if it is just one injector, would it be best to change all 4 or just the one thats faulty? same question with the leads?
